I recently had the absolute joy of capturing an unforgettable wedding at the stunning Ragged Point Inn on the breathtaking California Coast. Nestled between towering cliffs and the vast Pacific Ocean, Ragged Point provided the perfect backdrop for one of the most fun, laid-back couples I’ve ever worked with.
From the moment I met Larissa and Ken, I knew their wedding day would be something special. These two were the epitome of easy-going! Every smile, every laugh, and every moment felt genuine (just look at their beautiful wedding photos), making my job that much more easy.
But here’s where the story gets even better… Ken, the adventurous groom, decided to go on a pre-wedding hike the day before – not just any hike, but one of those "I'm-in-California-let's-soak-up-the-sun" kind of hikes. The result? A sunburn of epic proportions! I’ve got to hand it to him though, he laughed it off, showing up on the big day with humor and confidence, despite the extra red glow on his face!
The ceremony took place on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific, with the sounds of crashing waves and a crazy coastal breeze making everything feel as exciting and energetic as our couple. But even with the gusts, they both laughed and embraced it, turning the whole thing into one of those wonderfully unforgettable moments. In fact, it added a touch of wild romance to the whole day – like something straight out of a movie!
The reception was nothing short of a party – full of energy, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing. The backdrop of Ragged Point Inn made everything feel timeless, and Larissa and Ken’s infectious personalities made every photo feel alive.
Just as we stepped out of the reception we were hit with this beautiful golden hour light that just screamed to be a part of the wedding. So we swiftly ran to the best spot for some breathtaking couples photos. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer on the California coast.

When I heard that this guy’s had chosen Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles for their engagement session, I was beyond thrilled. I had only been there once and always wanted to come back! The observatory, with its stunning views of the city and the iconic Hollywood sign, is a dream location for any photographer. It promised a blend of romance, history, and natural beauty, and it did not disappoint.
From the moment we arrived you could just feel each other’s energy . We started the session at the front of the observatory, where the grand architecture set a dramatic stage. Their natural chemistry blended into the backdrop of beautiful LA made for some memorable shots.
This engagement session at Griffith Observatory was truly a blast. The location's beauty, combined with this couple's enthusiasm, made for a memorable day and stunning photographs. It's sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do. Capturing the essence of a couple's relationship in such an iconic setting is a privilege, and I can't wait to see where we go to next.

Kaitlin and Andrew's Wedding Day in Ojai, California was a tale of love, laughter, and a little bit of rain.
Despite the weather forecast predicting rain all day, this amazing couple didn't let it dampen their spirits one bit. Instead, they embraced the rain and turned it into a magical backdrop for their love story.
Ojai, with its charming rustic beauty, served as the perfect setting for their big day. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, it was a dreamy location for a wedding. But when the rain started pouring down early in the morning, some might have panicked. Not Kaitlin and Andrew. They saw it as an opportunity for something unique and memorable.
They were ready to make the most out of the day, rain or shine. Armed with umbrellas we set out to capture some stunning wedding portraits in the rain. The result? Pure magic. The raindrops added a romantic touch to the photos, creating an ethereal atmosphere that perfectly reflected their love for each other.
After an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house with just close family, it was time for the reception. And what better place to celebrate than Topa Topa Brewing? With its cozy atmosphere and delicious craft beer, it was the ideal spot for Kaitlin and Andrew to party the night away with their loved ones.
The rain may have continued throughout the day, but it didn't matter to Kaitlin and Andrew. They were too busy enjoying every moment of their special day surrounded by family and friends.
As their photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more fun-loving and adventurous couple to work with. Their positive attitude and willingness to embrace the unexpected made for some truly unforgettable moments that I was honored to capture.
